Judy Maldonado grew up in Gurnee, Illinois. She received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University in 2000. She went to DePaul College of Law and received awards for being named both the Dean’s Scholar and Dean’s Minority Scholar from the DePaul College of Law. She also received a CALI award for legal excellence during her time at DePaul. Judy graduated from DePaul College of Law with her Juris Doctorate in 2003. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2003. She is fluent in Spanish and Malayalam, an East Indian dialect. Judy is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, and Association of Women Law Attorneys of Lake County. She specializes in handling all types of real estate transactions and estate planning matters. Judy also handles landlord/tenant issues and has spoken at several landlord tenant training seminars, informing landlords of their rights and providing information regarding the eviction process.
Alicia Ayala grew up in Zion, Illinois. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Dominican University. She went to Northern Illinois University College of Law where she competed in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s 19th Annual Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court Competition and the NIU College of Law Internal Mock Trial Competition. Alicia was also the recipient of the HLSF Fellowship at the National Labor Relations Board. Alicia graduated from NIU College of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2016. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November of 2016. She is fluent in Spanish. Alicia is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County, and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. She specializes in handling residential and commercial real estate transactions.
